Plan the facility before the equipment ships
Modern high-density equipment draws more power, sheds more heat and weighs more than the servers most rooms were built for. Our team has hands-on experience planning data center deployments. We work with your facility, colocation and electrical teams so capacity is ready when the hardware arrives.
Every constraint, before the purchase order
Needs & capacity assessment
Current and projected compute, storage and network demand translated into racks, power and space.
Site & colocation evaluation
Comparing on-premises rooms and colocation providers on power density, cooling capability, connectivity and contract terms.
Layout & space planning
Rack elevations, floor loading, aisle containment and the delivery path from dock to row.
Network architecture
Compute, storage and management networks, cable plant and out-of-band access designed before installation.
Phasing & roadmap
Deployment lots matched to power-on dates, plus a growth roadmap so today’s build doesn’t block tomorrow’s.
Vendor & RFP support
Requirements, scoring and side-by-side comparison when you are choosing colocation, contractors or equipment.
What you receive
- Rack elevations for each row and phase.
- Power budget per rack and per row, with redundancy.
- Cooling load estimate and the cooling approach it implies.
- Network and cable plan with a bill of materials.
- Phased deployment schedule tied to delivery lots.
- Site-readiness checklist to sign off before shipping.
Density changes the building
A rack of accelerated servers can draw several times the power of a traditional enterprise rack. Planning decides whether you spread equipment across racks, add containment, or move to liquid cooling, before the equipment is ordered.
Consulting work is advisory. Final electrical and mechanical designs are completed and approved by your facility’s engineer of record and licensed contractors; we work alongside them.
